Remind yourself that it's ok not to be perfect.

Simple Plan - Perfect

Well this week is about those times where you may have the urge to make something perfect. But that's the thing, you don't HAVE to be perfect all the time.

I know I am probably talking to the worse crowd for this haha.

Well I dont really have time right now or the energy for a massive blog. So I'm going to cut it short, I have a video posted on youtube to go along with this post

Intelligence without Ambition is a bird without wings ~ Salvador Dali

Bonnie & Clyde (The Revolution) - Her Bright Skies

Oh look, Ryon is on top of a monday for once.

I will probably keep this short and sweet because I have already done one blog post this evening on a personal blog, which is why I think it's been so hard to keep up.

First of all I had 2 weeks off college, so that was like 9-ish days off give or take a few days. I still had to go to work and stuff but it wasn't too bad. But now I am back to my schedule of college, college, college, niece, college, work, work, repeat. Which indeed means I get hardly any time to myself, yet somehow, on a sunday night I have found time (while I am eating skittles and waiting for my hair to dry) to write a monday blog post to be scheduled. I am quite proud of myself.

on Friday night I found myself quite down, thinking about having to go to work. but the next day I got to work and I realise, I didnt hate my job, I didnt hate the customers, I didnt hate the people working there, I was worried for nothing basically. The only downside is that it's not photography based and I dont really have time to do photoshoots with it.

And that little paragraph has tied in nicely with this weeks theme, which is determination. Well that's what I got out of the quote this week. To me, it means that if you want something to happen then you have to make it happen. You may have the capability of doing it and the knowledge about the subject but that doesn't mean anything if you don't have the ambition to go for it (much like the bird without wings, without those wing, the bird can't really reach it's full potential.)

well I think I am done now guys

I'm a Cliché in a song, and everybody's singing along.

Something's Gotta Give - All Time Low

Hey guys, it's Music Monday time again, and I think that this is the first Monday of the Year where you have gotten to read my wonderful writing. So sorry about last week. I did explain to everyone that I was feeling low and really didn't feel like writing. All of us feel like that sometimes, and some of us in this actually all of us have some form of education to attend to while we write this blog. So some weeks we may find it difficult to remember or find the time. I have an alarm on my phone so that I can remember but even I find it hard, since I am the start of the week, I kind of need to start off with a quote I guess.

So this week I chose a line from a new song that actually came out today. I didn't know what line to choose so I chose one that I liked the sound of.

But anyway I'm going to cut it short and go for a shower coz I feels like it.

SORRY!!! :/

Hey its ryon, sorry that i forgot to post yesterday.

We will start fresh in the new year with some new quote and a better schedule..

I am writing this in the back of my brothers car on the way back from my grans, she lives in Hythe, Kent.

As i said i am sorry for not posting yesterday, i ended up watching a movie with my mother and drinking, so by the time i had straightened my hair and painted my nails (while trying to get netflix to work) i had actually forgotten to post and the busy day i have had, didnt remember until now.

So its not my usual post and i am sorry i completely spaced for once on this blog. Ok so this weeks quote... Um...

"Life is not about finding yourself, life is about creating yourself"

Basically dont be a little bitch about things, do things that make you happy and stop thinking about what everyone else thinks. It's helped me for a few years now, i hope it helps you.

Song of the day, you will need to youtube it coz i dont have a link... I will put one in next week if i remember.

Song: Second & Sebring - Of Mice & Men

'Tis the season to be jolly

Set It Off - This Christmas (I'll Burn It To The Ground)

I guess this is kind of a bah-humbug post, which is strange for me because this time of year I am normally so excited and happy. I love Christmas. I'm just not feeling the Christmas spirit today, which just so happens to be the day for me to write this blog. I only really check every Monday so when I come on and find that only 3 of us have been posting it's kind of disappointing. I'm not going to bad mouth the girls in anyway I know that sometimes people are busy and everything, but guys we are meant to say if we cant post. But as it seems like it, that is not why I am not in a christmassy mood today. It's just a minor thing I have been meaning to mention to everyone on here for a few weeks now.

THE REASON I AM BAH-HUMBUG. Well the reason is that I have work today... and I wouldn't mind if it was at normal hours, but no. They tell me that we all have to do at least one late night... so here I am working from 6pm-midnight -.- I am not looking forward to it. That is my downtime normally. well after those 6 hours. I am free to be Christmassy :).

I really can't wait for Christmas. I can't wait to spend it with my family and to hopefully spend new years with my friends. And as strange as it sounds I cant wait to go back to college and see everyone and actually be able to do work with my own camera. I am literally going to spend the rest of the holidays reading the manual. I WILL know this camera inside and out.

I don't expect anyone to post on Thursday I guess... we will all be too busy with family as presents and shizz. oh and stuffing our faces.

well I shall watch the rest of this episode of Sherlock and get ready for work.

Merry Christmas guys, see you next Monday.

Dear Karma, I have a list of people you missed.

On The Brightside - NeverShoutNever

Hey guys it's my day again, I had a photoshoot at college and then I went to meet Emily and Rachael (Wednesday and Saturday) It was great to have a catch up and marvel in the fact that neither Emily or I could understand what Rachael was writing in Ancient Greek... she could have written that we were dickheads and we probably would believe that she had written that we were her friends. OK I joke, she didn't write that.... but she could have, just saying.

So that paragraph was just so I could finish my blackcurrant tea... when it gets colder it starts to taste funny :/... I don't think I like it as ice tea I shall have to try it properly some time.

OK so lets talk about today's quote. I don't know why I chose it, I just liked it... and it was pretty short, so perfect title. But when we all think about we have that list somewhere in our head that we may not have even realise we had made. The more I thought about it, I realised that I did have a list, but as a strong believe in Karma, I realise that their time will come, Karma is just waiting until the right time to strike.

Ok so as for the song, I have had it stuck in my head for days. I just needed to share it. Right now I am listening to a dude called Iain Archer, don't know who he is but he sounds chill... I was listening to Matt Hires. I will share his song below.

Turn The Page - Matt Hires

I'm not going to do a challenge this week because only 3 of us post now so what's the point?

Go, Live Your Dream!

I have a Dream - Tangled

OK so this week I almost forgot... so I will keep it short and sweet.

This quote comes from the one and only Hazel Griffiths, who writes for us on Fridays. She will blame me for this as I was on the phone to her and we were discussing Disney and Teatox.

So as you may know this quote is in Tangled. And it may mean something to you and to be honest, it should. If it doesn't, then it's ok you just haven't found out quite what you want to do with your life. So take as many wrong turns as you need to end up on the right track again. (I feel like I just plagiarised there... but that could also not be a quote and if so... I'm an insightful little fucker haha)

To me it's where I am right now... well almost. I am going to college to get the skills that I need to follow my dream. Hazel is also on the same course, it was great that I knew someone to go onto the course with... and even better that she is in my class.

Right so back onto your dreams. It's ok to not know what you are dreaming. Some people just haven't figured that out yet. In fact some people never do. I have known what I have wanted to do since I was about 14 and then I realised that I had the wrong options for my GCSE... I mean come on what does Italian have to do with Photography? Absolutely nothing. Then I TRIED to pick things to help at A level. Again... I don't know how DT would have helped, but somehow I thought it would. What I am saying is, if you haven't realised your dream yet or if you don't know how to get there. DON'T WORRY, you will figure it out.

OK girlies, this week your CHALLENGE is to Try. OK so I have no idea what I mean by this challenge. But take it how you will... I don't mean it like you need to try harder, but what ever you feel you need to try at... just go for it... I hope it goes well for ya!

Until Next week

Happiness Can Be Found in The Darkest of Places, If One Only Remembers To Turn On the Light

My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark - Fall Out Boy

Hey Guys, I'm gonna keep this short and sweet, I almost forgot this week, but I eventually remembered. I will get this posted before midnight, and while I sit there listening to the song above that has little to do with the quote, other than the words 'light em up' in it, I realise that the task I have set my self is entirely possible. Well lets face it, I'm not a slow typer, but the song did end, so I will briefly get some more music on and get back to work.

OK so I am now listening to country.

So today's quote, well to me it really only means that I was stuck for a quote so I discussed it with Hazel and since neither of us could remember what she had sent me before, I went with this one. That isn't to say that I didn't like it, only to say that if I had more time I would have chosen a different one.

As I wrote the paragraph, Hazel found them, I was certain that she sent in in a personal message, not the group but hey there you go... we have 2 more quotes.

In all seriousness, this quote does have it's way of clicking with me. And before you guys say anything, it's not because pretty lights make me happy (even though they do). It's because, through all those dark times you may go through, there is always that one light that you turn on. Be it a friend (mine was), or a mother, a daughter, grandparent, dad? It doesn't matter who your light is, or what it is for that matter, it just matters that you remember to turn it on. Now I am not saying that you need to turn on your theoretical light, it could be something as having a simple conversation, completely different conversation, to forget your troubles, or it can be sitting down and talking them through. It doesn't matter how, it is what ever works best for you.

With that I think we should lead to our CHALLENGE. This week, I want you guys to do something that makes you happy, and talk about it on your post. Or well mention it. you can explain why it makes you happy, or what ever makes you happy.

I put up my Christmas Decorations today, I love Christmas.

Well guys I liked this being a happy post. We'll see what comes next week. I think I have an idea. You'll find out.

Paint The Sky, Make It Yours

Dawin - Just Girly Things

Ok so this weeks quote has fuck all to do with anything. I just think it's a good message.

To me it says that I need to stop waiting for things to happen for me, that I have to make them happen for myself.

For Example I am back at College basically getting my life on track... I want to do photography as a career, but that wont happen unless I am willing to put the work in and make it happen for myself.

It took me a whole year to figure out what this quote has summed up in 6 words. And while I sit here with my head slightly like from drinking some Pina Colada (I haven't had a drink in a few weeks don't judge me) I think about this quote more. I hadn't heard this quote until about 3-4 hours ago, and I already want it on my motivational wall.

Ok so reading this (especially coz I schedule it for the date) you won't realise that I took a break for a sneezing fit, now I can't breathe. But, Man, does it sober you up.

To be honest I'm not sure what this music Monday is about, especially as I have to write it on a Wednesday as I am fairly busy in the next coming days and the fact that I know I am going to be tired on Monday and wont want to post will be the death of me.

That's really it from me. I will let you guys know that I am now employed, which is fantastic.

I shall leave you guys with the CHALLENGE and go write my christmas cards, which I only have 20 of... THAT'S NOT ENOUGH!

OK CHALLENGE: so this week it is talk about what keeps you motivated. for me it is a Wall and my friends :)

Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cake hole.

Carry on my wayward son - Kansas

Alrighty then folks. I'm not quote sure why I picked this quote, but I feel like we should have a little fun this week. And what's more fun than Hot guys chasing around Demons and Ghosts and all kinds of creepy ass shit, while trying to keep each other safe. Plus JENSEN ACKLES PEOPLE!

So Supernatural has kinda taken over my life. Bones used to be my favourite show, then I sat there thinking about it one day... Supernatural is now in place of it... though I am still waiting for series 10 to come out in the UK... of Bones that is... which I have just looked up and apparently January... however no channel in the UK wants supernatural series 9 or 10.   :(

At the end of every season without fail so far on SPN they have played the song above. Once hearing it with the opening titles rolling will always bring a tear to my eye, I know it's the last episode and I just wait for one of them to die.

Why do I put myself through this? I hear some of you ask... BECAUSE I GOT ATTACHED OK?! It wasn't meant to happen, it was like TFIOS... I thought I would read that without becoming obsessed... it didn't go so well. With Supernatural, I watched it because my friend loved it... now I wear the necklace all the damn time, find myself quoting Bobby when things go wrong and and actually further on in the series than my friend, who is American.

I am only talking about my favourite show because I love it and am passionate about it... I am also passionate about photography, I recently did a photoshoot with my niece and pretty pleased with the outcome.

OK so this weeks CHALLENGE  is to pick your favourite quote from your favourite TV show as I have done... have fun picking

Shoulder to shoulder with all who serve

Mad World - Gary Jules and Michael Andrews

Hey Folks!

It's Ryon again, and yes it's another Monday. This isn't just any week, this week is remembrance week. Tomorrow is the 11th of November, and here in the UK we take a moment on this day to remember those who fought in the first world war. That is what the poppy appeal is about and every year without fail, my family support this appeal, a tradition that I hope to do with my children every year. I don't know how people in other countries support this, or even if they do, but each year, I like to take a minute or two out of my time and think about those who have served in previous wars and those fighting for my country today. Because if you think about it, even if you don't agree with the cause of the Wars, there are still people out there willing enough and patriotic enough to put their life on the line for their country.

Now as for the song choice, I just love this song. And I agree with what it states, that this is indeed a mad world. But it's also a world that we have to live in, whether you think that it is mad as in crazy or mad as in angry, this is the world we live in... and to be honest I have lost what I was saying. So let's talk more about World War 1.

I remember first learning about trench warfare in year 9. To get the point across to students, a bunch of 13-14 year olds, our teach felt the need to swear. She was trying to get us to understand how scared these trench soldiers were, it was effective to say the least, well at least to get most of the kids in my class to marvel at the wonder that was a teacher swearing. However for me it did hit home. Now as sadistic as it may sound I love learning about war. It's just a subject that interests me, I don't know why, but I know I am not alone in my passion for history such as this. Though I don't like learning about the current war, but I suppose in years to come it may indeed be a distant memory and will be worth a trip to a museum or two. As I was saying, the Great Wars have always been something I ave been interested in learning about and this term my course have been lucky enough to take pictures at Bletchley park, which is where the code breaking happened, which won us the second war. So as well as taking pictures, I learnt a bit more about the second world war.

So that is my introduction to this week. and this weeks CHALLENGE is talk about your favourite war film... and NOT the Boy in the Striped Pyjamas... that film is over played and an obvious choice.

My favourite war film is Behind The Lines which is a film that is based on the book 'Regeneration' which is probably my favourite war book, it's not so much about the fighting but the consequences that the fighting brought. It is set in a war asylum call Craiglockheart which is in Scotland. to me al though it isn't the best film it is still about one of my favourite books, and it has a good story behind it.

Ok guys and girls I am done.

"I fell in love the way you fall asleep. Slowly, and then all at once"

Simple As This - Jake Bugg
The Fault In Our Stars Soundtrack (Full)

Okie Dokie Boys and Girls, I have had a fluctuation in my moods today, first half of the day was really good then the next half was pretty shit, but that's OK because that happens from time to time and we get over it and move on. Now I didn't pick this quote because I am in love, although have you see Jack Barakat? OK so moving on to what the post is really about. TODAY IS THE DAY! The Fault In Our Stars is FINALLY out on DVD and I obviously wanted the best one. so I got the Blu-ray/DVD/Digital copy well eventually, after an upset with amazon and trying to blame my bank and yadda yadda yadda *negative crap.*

Today I am not going to be negative, this is a sad film and an even more upsetting book. (You know because they tell more in the book.) So I am going to do the polar opposite of this book and be really positive... believe me ask Lily how hard that used to be fore me. For the most part it still is. But 'Keep Moving forward' (little bit of a Disney quote in there coz I can) [Meet the Robinsons/Walt Disney if you didn't know). ANYWAY. I know you will listen to the song and be like 'What the Hell Ryon?' I know it's not the most positive as songs, but hey it's making me positive, but I have put a link to the whole sound track so you can choose your own positive song. OR you may already know your positivity song... I sure as hell do. I have 2. one is Who We Are by Paradise fears and the one that made me feel safe and calm is Stand Up by Yashin.

Basically because I have pretty much had a bad day I am wanting to do a positive post to cheer me up mainly, this is a fairly easy week with it being TFIOS week. I have already collaborated with Emily so she will probably be talking about the book and well I have ideas that Hazel could do, well one really but I will tell her that tomorrow. Or you know tonight on facebook. I wont say my idea because it's her blog post and if she doesn't want to do that idea then it's her choice.

I did ask for John Green's input on this blog post, to get him to choose this week's quote from his book, but he didn't answer... well he has been busy with Paper Towns Movie and probably other things so you cant really blame him.

As I said this is a positive post with a sad subject. this weeks CHALLENGE is to be positive, you don't have to talk about the quote, talk about something that you are passionate about. Or that you love very, very much. For Me I have done that, I have spoken about the music, I have spoken about the film, the book, the author, all of these I love dearly and it makes me happier knowing that I can get behind something and be positive about it. SO there you cou guys just be POSITIVE. That's all I ask... we can be negative other weeks.

OK on a more serious note, this film/book is about cancer... now I did plan to stop posting this in November, but I feel if I don't do it I will have the guilt hanging over me. I gave up alcohol for a whole month (not that I missed it all that much... yeah there were times) for MacMillan Cancer support. My link to my Go Sober page is in other Monday blog posts, so you can donate there... or straight to MacMillan. Or to other Cancer Charities. I feel like if I didn't put this you would feel like I am completely missing the point. I mean giving to charity in general is good but I feel because of the subject of the book, cancer ones need a little more recognition for this subject. But you go donate to any charity you want.

Anyway that's mine, over for another week.

Boys And Girls Of Every Age, Wouldn't You Like To See Something Strange

This Is Halloween - Panic! At The Disco
This Is Halloween - Marilyn Manson
What's This - Fall Out Boy
Nightmares Revisited (Full Album)

HEY GUYS! It's Monday and that means your weekly does of Ryon... and with that comes a song (or in this case 3 and an album). So it's 4 days until Halloween... who's excited?! I AM!!!! OK I may be 18 and yes that normally means parties and booze... not this year obviously (sober October) "Why did you do that to yourself, Ryon?" I hear you ask. WELL dear reader. I did it for charity... which I have only raised a tenner for... which is slightly disappointing but I'm too hyped for Halloween to let it bring me down. And as I sit here listening to All American Rejects (saw them live this year, Lily and Hazel know what I'm talking about) anyway... as I listen to them sing Jack's Lament I feel like it doesn't matter how much I raised for MacMillan, it's the fact that I did something for charity and I would like to do more, because I know I don't do enough. I'm sick of sitting and complaining that there aren't enough decent people in the world, when I'm not really being one myself. so I have promised myself that I am going to get more involved in Charity, and Sober October is a good way to start. But maybe not next year coz let's face it, if I get invited to a Halloween party, I will wanna drink (just saying), but that doesn't mean I wont volunteer at charity shops or do other things (just not sports... I suck t sports).

Anyway I completely went off on a ramble there. This Post is meant to be about Halloween. and as we see October draw to a close we see more and more leaves falling off the trees and covering the ground in crisp oranges and reds, luring me into a sense of security that winter is well and truly on it's way. I caught up with an old friend this week and he told me he never understood why I liked the winter so much. Well I can tell you that it is in fact not Christmas (though I do love the Christmas spirit) Is it My Nephew's Birthday? Nope. Is it My nieces Birthday? Noooo. I will tell you... it is simply because I love the cold weather. I would rather add a layer than take one off... I like feeling all warm and toasty but feeling Jack Frost nipping at your nose. And I love Autumn. The leaves on the ground blend in perfectly with the rip orange pumpkins that people leave on their front porches. I love these seasons and the Holidays that it brings. I love Halloween and painting my face all scary like. I love spending time with my family at Christmas. My mum always goes out on the dinner and it's always amazing. I love seeing the new year in and watching what ever I can find that gives me a good enough show (usually Jules Holland). Right at the end of Winter... a few days before spring begins (21st March, in case you don't know), my birthday, ok now as a kid it never used to depress me... always excited to be growing up, but now it's like 'eh another year' but not only that... it means only 5 days left before we have to start calling it spring (meaning Summer's on it's way) which leaves a very discontent Ryon.

This week is Halloween week... whether people in this blogging group like it or not. Friday is Halloween week and that's that. Now I guess there's not really a quote this week, I just used the opening lines of This is Halloween.

So girls this weeks CHALLENGE is find a spooky quote to go with Halloween.
And here is Mine:
I'd say sweet dreams...but there aren't any left! - Pitch Black ~ Rise Of The Guardians

OK That quote isn't spooky, but I love that movie and who doesn't love a bit of Jude Law, even if he does voice a Villain.

Thanks for reading my rambles guys, even if I did go off on tangents every 5 seconds.

Please donate to My MacMillan Cancer page... still sober guys. https://www.gosober.org.uk/profile/bryonysmith

If You Walk The Footsteps of A Stranger, You'll Learn Things You Never Knew - Pocahontas

Dead Walker Texas Ranger - Sleeping With Sirens

Hello there people welcome to another Music Monday... I have given up not calling it that... because lets face it... that's what it is... I give you music on a Monday and then I tell you what it has to do with the quote and so on and so forth.

This week the song has absolutely fuck all to do with the quote but since I have a couple of Halloween songs that I would like to share (and I have already given you a Pocahontas song, I think it was the song that quote is from Colours Of The Wind jsyk) anyway... I decided that since it is Halloween next week and I have 2 or 3 Halloween songs... I wanted to share one this week and next week for definite and possibly the week after.

This week, to me, is about giving people a  chance. for me I guess it's important I have a friend who blogs on here with me (Hazel - Food Friday) and I started college with her this year. She went last year but still, New campus, new people. I am one of those socially awkward people at first... but when I get to know people I kind of open up a bit. OK so what this has to do with Hazel is that she is the complete opposite and because I was already friend with her she was shall we say forcing me into situations where I had to speak to new people. Now I know I said forcing and that sounds horrible, but if she hadn't done that then I wouldn't have had many friends by now and that would probably be shitty because she would feel like she would have to stay with me... and it's better for both of us to have a lot of friends than for me to isolate both of us.

I know you cant literally walk the footsteps of a stranger but I have gotten to know pretty much all of the people in my class, and as for learning things well... From Toby I learned about new festivals and things (nothing to do with my course but still a nice guy) and from Carly I have learned about these songs about Mario (cant remember the name of the artist or anything) but if I hadn't have met these strangers then a) I wouldn't have any new friends b) Hazel would probably be pissed off to hell with me and c) I wouldn't know about that stuff.

No I know that pretty much none of that shit has to do with Pocahontas and I know it seems like I pick the quote... and at the moment to an extent yes I do... but everyone gets their say. and this week... I was the one that wanted a Disney week, but Lorna who writes Sundays gave me a better idea, because lets face it... Disney week is a little Cliché... since the quote is from Pocahontas... and Pocahontas is probably one of my favourite movies... my favourite all time being Rise of the Guardians... but of Disney, Pocahontas and Frozen are right at the top. And since we are all strangers to you, the reader, then I suggest as this weeks CHALLENGE that we all tell the readers a little about our favourite Movie.

(Thanks Lorna for this idea... so guys... I guess... Technically, Lorna Challenges you)

Why Fit In When You Were Born To Stand Out ~Dr. Seuss

Banjo - Rascal Flatts

OK I know that this weeks song is a little out of the blue and probably doesn't fit very well with the quote... but it's because it doesn't fit in that it does fit in.

Have I lost you?

Don't worry you will understand in a minute.

Basically this week is all about standing out. Whether you do that with how you act or the way you dress or both. Quite frankly it doesn't matter. I have chosen this week to do it with my song choice... and as I write this I am listening to this band... which are country by the way.

I like country. Now I know not many people do and if they do then they are normally of an older generation. But I don't care... I am 18 and I like country and even if you like something that someone else doesn't. Having the courage to admit that and stand out from the crowd is basically what this quote is about... and who doesn't love a bit of Seuss.

Now I must admit that I did have trouble finding a song to fit in with this weeks theme and as I was writing this sentence my phone went off with my despicable Me game wanting attention. But you see I knew which one it was because it stands out from the rest. (you know that minion that sounds like he is calling everyone a pedo?) Anyway moving on from my phone habits. I really like this quote not because it was said by a silly ass genius that brought joy to my life as a child but because it's extremely true.

He has another 'today you are you, that's truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you.' now you are right that doesn't make a lick of sense... but it sticks in your mind doesn't it?

This is why I think that Seuss is so great (yes I did visit Seuss Landing in Islands of Adventure in Florida) but Seuss has this way of letting the immaturity take over and coming up with really important life messaged that you never think would sink in as a child.. but you don't realise how much they have actually impacted your life until you are looking for the perfect Dr. Seuss quote for your blog that week.

But I guess I went off track a little... I am pretty sure that most people have seen the Grinch around Christmas time... it's somewhat of a tradition in our house. OH! A little fact for all you Pretty Reckless fans. Taylor Momsen played Cindy Lou Who in that film. And look at her now... she could have been forever known as Cindy Lou and fit in with the norms of society... but she chose to embrace the rock chick within her.

OK this is the cringiest thing I think I have ever written haha. But you catch my drift.

I don't really like the Pretty Reckless but it was a very easy point to make with this weeks theme.

Anyway I'm going to get gone now... I have rambled enough. Hmmm... I think I should start challenging my fellow Bloggers for this week as I am Monday... OK GIRLS... I want you to choose one way to make you blog stand out... this week I think I am going to change the font... I always choose Arial and it's always black... and that is how I have written this blog... but I will go back and change it at the end maybe even different colours? I dunno you will already know by this point.

To Not Have Some Battle Scars Is To Never Have Lived

Warrior - Paradise Fears

Hey guys it's Ryon again. Here with another song for you guys, that I am actually listening to as I type... well I would if YouTube would buffer. Now for me it is currently Sunday night... and this is a Monday post. But that's OK because... as you will have realised is that this has posted on Monday. I am trying out the schedule thing. and if I find this easier I will be doing it this way from now on.

Anyway onto the post.

The Quote this week is 'To not have some battle scars is to never have lived' and that is a quote from this song that I have posted. I know exactly where it is through having listened to it millions of times. It is right at the end of the song. Since knowing about the band I have been in love with them. And getting to meet Sam (the singer) was amazing. It was at a concert for The Summer Set... you know the band I put in my blog last week. These guys have been there for me for months. I have listened to them everyday with out fail for about 5 months maybe 6. Since then they have brought out new songs and most of the time I can listen to them and it makes my day a little brighter.

With this quote. To me it means that you have to go through the shit to get the awesome. It just helps if you have someone or something to help you though that shit. For me that SOMETHING has always been music, and that SOMEONE has always been Lily. Who coincidently made me love music all that much more. Through middle school we were always coming up with new band names and ideas and never following through... but we have different dreams now... ones that we are actually pursuing so all these embarrassing memories from middle school that we have are the 'battle scars' if you will but if we didn't have them then we would 'never have lived'.

Now we are living. Well... kind of... I mean we are both still at college and I definitely have a long way to go before I achieve my dream.

So if you are hiding you battle scars, Physical or mental, don't... our scars are what makes us unique and tells its own little story.

So remember 'To not have some battle scars is to never have lived'.

Good Seasons Start With Good Beginnings

Seasons - The Summer Set

Hello and welcome to Our little Life.

My Name is Bryony... but I prefer Ryon... so that is how I will sign of from my blogs.

Let me start off by telling you what our blog is about. Our blog is a place were we vent, share stories and even give a little advice when we feel it.  Each week we will have a quote which is probably what I will title my post each week. I will be blogging every Monday with a song that goes with a theme and a blog themed around the song. ONWARD WITH THE BLOG!

So today's song is Seasons by The Summer Set. This song is in my eyes a great song. I feel it fits because well the theme this week is seasons... well pretty much. It is the start of Autumn. well it was like a week ago. It's a new season, a new blog, a new beginning. I for one am excited about this.

"It's getting better with the seasons and the weather"

Now I know most people are like 'ew no it's getting colder' but I for one, like the cooler temperature... I hate the warm weather... so Autumn is the start of my favourite time of the year. all the best holidays... Halloween, Christmas, New Year... my birthday ;)

OK! So my birthday is not technically a holiday... but I like it... and it JUST falls into the winter category, hence my favourite season... and of course Autumn is a close second... the smell of fallen leave is amazing. Breaking out your sweaters and hoodies and starting to dress a  little  warmer.

Right I guess I should draw this to close as I have run out of shit to talk about... this was one to start off the blog... wasnt meant to be much and I think I did well :P

Lots of Love... Ryon xxx
